Family Home Evening Fun

Tonight we decided to carve pumpkins as a family. We went to the Internet to find some help and we found carving for dummies.....

The kids love this time of the year. Regan found his pumpkin on his field trip and Braydin and Paige got their's from the pumpkin patch of Wal-Mart...

Kevin got the tops of them taken off and then its was off to work for the kids, a little digging and scrapping is all it took..

even Paige got her hand dirty..

They each got to choose a design and then we went a carving!

Braydin made a Frankenstein face, he thought it was way cool

sorry for this is such a bad picture but Regan made a scary face that he loved.
Paige got a spider for her pumpkin, all eight legs made it through the great carve!
Here are all the Pumpkins lit and ready to go for Halloween!!!

Pumpkins and Apples

Paige and I were able to go with Regan on his field trip to the pumpkin path and apple orchard. We had so much fun picking apples and eating lunch.

This year was the first time the Collins had the pumpkin patch. The kids love playing on the hay and running around.

Paige thinks she is as old as Regan where he went she went.

On the hay ride they taught the kids the proper way to pick the apples, even Paige got in the picking mood.

After the apples we had lunch and then picked the pumpkins.

It was such a fun time. I love seeing how big Regan is getting and how much Miss. Ortez is teaching him.

Quick trip

This last week Kevin was in Dallas for class, while he was there his brother Tyler was moving his fiance to St. Louis from Dallas. They had some problems and ended up needing Kevin to help them drive everything to St. Louis with them. To make a long story short they stayed the night with us Friday then Saturday the entire family went on a quick road trip....

Paige is so excited to have a new friend her age. Cole loves to hug and was teaching Paige how fun it was. Well needless to say by the end Cole wanted NO more hugs from Paige, she wanted to hug him all day.

Cole is such a sweet little boy. We are so excited that he is going to be part of our family.

He has taken a real liking to Tyler, but it seems that all the kids love Tyler.

This is Danelles dog. Paige thought it was awesome. If our family wasn't allergic to dogs we might just have to get one..(no only joking!!!)

The dog was glad to see us go. He thinks Cole is plenty of fun for him. He doesn't need anyone else.

This will be part of the happy family. We are so excited to see Tyler happy he is such an amazing guy and Danelle seems to make him the happiest. So welcome to the family and thank you for loving Tyler.
