How can you not just love Christmas card pictures.... Oh what pain it was!

Paige and Regan were abe to sit on Santa's lap. For some reason Braydin opted out this year! It could be because he is bigger then Santa!!!!

This is the funnest time of the year! Yes there is stress and there is shopping to be done, but the spirit of this season lives in our home. Paige's class said it best when they sang tonight "Happy Birthday Jesus"

It has been forever, but here goes! This past 6 months have been really great for our family. This past summer as we were in Utah Regan was able to be baptised. It was an amazing night with a wonderful support group for him.

This past October Kevin and I went to a couples night and learned how to cook some AMAZING food, by the best chef ever!!!!

This is Robert Hall, he is such a great guy. He is our High Council men, and is one that you get excited for when you see he gets to talk to you...

This dinner was so good and so easy to make, but tasted like it had cook for hours!

You would want to DIE if you tasted this Carmel... I didn't need anything else but the Carmel!

We took the kids to see Tusk (Arkansas mascot) at the tail gating party in Little Rock.

So as you can see we have been busy, my camera hasn't been very good so I missed a lot of photo ops. The boys both played football and baseball. We had as amazing trip to Utah, Paige turned 5. One of my goal for 2012 is to blog a lot more!

So this week Braydin was up to bat and took a hit to the back of the hand by the ball. We really didn't think anything about it until the next day. He came home from school and his hand was all swollen and the palm was black and blue. I was SICK!!! All I could think was please do not to broken. I told Kevin that I thought we needed to take him in, what would be the harm in that. Well this is what they saw...

I hope you can see it, it is near his pinky. We are going to the ortho on Monday for the cast and to see how long he will be out of commission. The doctor couldn't believe that he was able to play the rest of his game. (He got hit in the second inning) So needless to say I have a pretty strong kid. Now as for his mom I have been in tears over it. It just makes me so sad for him... No worries mom and son will be alright!!!!

So you really cant tell but the shirt that Braydin is wearing is pink, and he loves it. He begged me to take these pictures so that everyone could see how HOT he was! Can you tell he is HOT!!! Its a scary thing to think that this month he will be turning 11, I am not old enough to have n 11 year old. He is as tall as I am and way stronger. He is smart, loving, fun and nosey!!! (he always has to be right next to me and Kevin to hear everything...) But we do love him, he is great!!!!

So Brayidn all I can say is Happy 11th Birthday!!!!!

The rest of Spring Break...

OK here is how the rest of spring break went. We took the kids to Branson were we played alot... We drove the Go Karts, then we drove them again and again and again. We ate then drove the GO karts again, we played on the bumper cars. We went shopping alot then we ate and drove the GO Karts,saw a water show, went to the Dixie Stampede and oh ya did I mention we did the Go Karts!!! Kevin was with us, but he had to take the pictures... They have 4 different tracks this is the newest one and we LOVED it...

This was at the Dixie Stampede. It was so neat, we ate with our hands, watched the north take on the south and beat them, and lost Paige for 10 minutes. (she wanted to find the horses to pet, and they were outside)

This was one of the best spring breaks we have had. As you can see there was alot of fun things happening. As we raced o the Go Karts the girls won all but one race, but that's OK because there was alot of races so the real victory went to the girls... Nice try boys better luck next time!

Regan played for the boys and girls club this year, and LOVED every minute of it... One of Regan's last games he was so sick, I didn't even want to take him to his game. We ended up taking him and he score 14 points and had 18 rebounds. I told him he needed to be sick ore often. After the game he went home and stayed in bed the rest of the day. He was quite the defender, he was always in everyone face playing defence. I love this shot, he made both his free throws...

They ended up winning the Championship game by 1! Oh what a great year they had.

We had pictures of Brayin's year but they didn't turn out so well. So instead you get to listen to me tell you how he did... They ended up losing the championship game by 1. It was a sad night for hi. But he played so well this year I couldn't have been more proud. He was starting to get so physical and mean....(and YES I loved every minute of it!)

So to both my boys I m so proud of you. As long as you try your best it doesn't really matter what the outcome is. You will always be my hero's!!!

For those of you that aren't around these here parts!!! ;) Every year our ward does a chili cook off/ cub scout cake auction. The fathers and sons make the cakes and the mom supervises!!!! So these are the cakes that the men in my life decided on. (KINDA)

Braydin really wanted to make a Utah hat, but we live in Arkansas really who would bid on a Utah hat. So we decided that we live a block away from University of Central Arkansas (UCA) so we went that rout instead...
So as you see we did a baseball and and 6 free tickets to the baseball game. I think that they did awesome!!!! Braydin tried to do the UCA on the hat but got a little discouraged after working on it for a bit, so I did step in on that. But other then the UCA hi and his dad were hard at work icing this hat!!!

Regan's cake we went a different rout. I am all about cupcakes and I saw these on a web site and thought that it would be so much fun. They turned out so dang cute, if I have to say so myself.... Regan has only been in the cub scouts for a month but he is having so much fun!!!

Both cake brought in good money for the scouts, and not only that but we had fun decorating them!!!!

Dance night at UCA

Paige and her little friend Ashlin went to a dance clinic at UCA. They had so much fun learning the dance and hanging out with the cheer leaders. Then that night they performed at half time of the boys basketball game. So here are a few pictures (ok alot of them!!!) of all the fun that she had...

Farewell dear Friend...

This is a picture of my napkin holder that I have had for 5 years, yes you heard me 5 years. Kevin begged me to get rid of it, Tiffany hated it, but as for me..... I loved it. It sat through many parties and was a friend to everyone.
Well this last summer while I was in Utah I played Bunco with some family and what should happen but the prize I won was a new napkin holder. Its not as fun and cheery as this one but its not broken or ripped. So at this time I have to say good bye to my friend and grow up and move on.

Camping and the Lake!!!

We decided to take the kids camping this last weekend, and boy did we have fun. We went with some amazing people that made our little trip a blast. There was great food, lots of swimming, boating, talking and laughing. Oh ya and raccoons!!!
This was the first time that we had ever taken the kids camping in a tent, and they cant wait to go again. the weather was perfect, yes it got a little chilly but for the most part it was wonderful. They even got me in the tube. (OK for like 5 seconds and then I was DONE!!!)

This really was a fun weekend, and we cant wait to do it again...

I thought I would update you on the comings and goings of the Shipp Family....

Kevin is doing great, he was able to go sky diving this summer which was a dream of his. Him, his dad and nephews went and loved it. He is still coaching baseball for Braydin. Really he is the best dad in the world.

I was released from Primary this summer and put in as Ward Activities leader. Our first activity was this past weekend. I am doing really good, I have lost around 70 lbs. so yes I am proud of myself.

Braydin started at Ruth Doyle this year. It didn't make me happy, he is growing up to fast and there is nothing I can do about it. So yes I cried and it made things better! He is playing football, baseball and basketball. He is getting taller by the minute and is as strong as ever. He makes me proud.

Regan decided that he didn't want to play fall baseball but want to play soccer. So yes we are going crazy with sports right now. But I have realized that its good. The kids are having fun and we are having fun watching them. He started the 2nd grade this year and is doing wonderful. He is my sweet boy that loves to cuddle with me. I am also so proud of him!

Paige is 4 and loves life. She is getting so big and has such a strong personality. She has more energy then most people, but that's OK by me. We have so much fun together, I would have to say she is my best friend. Yes I said it a 4 year old is it, and that's good by me! She loves school and loves her teacher. I will say it again I am so proud of her.

As you can see we are alive and well, we keep busy but always find time for family.

Lake Time!!!

For Labor Day this year we went with some friends to Heber Springs. What an amazing place it is, the water was amazing and the views even better. So here is some of the fun that we had.

I wasn't about to get in the water, but Alisha is always a great friend and there for my kids!!! :)

Paige thought that she had died and gone to heaven. She loved everything about the water, even the fact that it washed the blood of her knee when she had fallen earlier that day.

The water by the cliffs was so choppy that I wouldnt let the kids jump unless there was an adult down below to help them.

Nothing but grace right there!!!! Like a swan!

This was the after math of Alishas jump. Dont worry she didn't do this on the way down it was on the way up when she didnt want help from anyone to get out.

Needless to say never be scared to except help! :)
We had a wonderful day and cant wait to go back. The kids want to go camping in a couple of weeks and as much as I HATE to camp I think that we are going to do it...

Kevin's Extreme Ride!

So Kevin decided that it would be fun to sky dive this summer with his nephews and his dad. (CRAZINESS!!!) So this is the before picture:

Kevin had told me that he didn't want some big hairy man strapped to his back. I told him not to worry that he was the big hairy man that someone was sad to be strapped too! Nonetheless this is who he was strapped to, kinda hair, but not big at all!!!!

This was on of Larry's bucket list things. He is 77 and bad ankles, not really a good mix if you ask me!

Lindsey went last year and wanted to go again, but she just had surgery on her eyes.

This was our group that went to see the boy "PLUNGE" as I like to call it.

Paige wasn't really that sure that she wanted her dad to jump out of the airplane. She wasn't going to leave his side.

This post is all about Paige....

My baby girl turned 4 in August, can you imagine that my baby is 4 I can't. We have so much fun together. she loves everything about everything. She know how to drive her brothers crazy and so she does it every chance she gets. She know that all she has to do is smile at her daddy and his is rapped around her little finger. Then there is me, mom, she tells me all the time you are the best mom in the world and this is the best family ever. Then I am hooked!

She is a light in our family, she has a love that radiates from her. She loves to learn, she loves to play, run, jump, talk, and take care of her babies. She loves her grandparents, she loves her aunts and uncles, cousins and best of all her boys (Braydin and Regan).

Our family wouldn't be complete without our princess. Now don't get me wrong she has her moments. She is the boss and if you tell her she isn't you will here it and here it all day long. She isn't afraid to tell you that you have said bad words. Her favorite song she know is I am a Child of God, and she will sing it anytime any place. She loves to dance, and best of all she loves school.

Her favorite food is any kind of Mexican. Her favorite places to eat are Mama Chus, China Light, and Del Taco!!!!

Yes she started pre k this year, that wasn't an easy thing for me but she never looked back. She did stop to tell me that she would miss me while we are apart and not to cry. She told me that I am strong. I really cant get enough of her.

We had a going away Party for the Sherwood's in our ward. So we had a slip and slide there, I couldn't get the kids off of it. They had so much fun!

Hopefully the Burtons will give us a call next time they get it out. HINT HINT WINK WINK!!!

This IS Braydin's art work that was selected to compete in regionals. He and one other girl from Ellen Smith's entire 4Th grade where chosen to go.

It went on display at the Faulkner County Library for a week. We are so proud of him. Way to go "B"!

This is Meow and baby, at least that is what she calls them. (I call meow big head!)

Before she goes to bed she has to make sure that they are all with her. She is one funny little girl. I love my boys to death but there is something special about a little girl!

Man can I tell you how old Kevin is getting...He has a 10 yr old. How I stayed the same age as the day we got married I will never know! My little boy is now an inch shy of being taller then me. He is becoming a young man with a lot of love and kindness. He is fun to be with and watch grow. He wants to be an adult but yet still loves to cuddle with his mom. He makes me proud! Some days the things he says make you wonder and shake your head. But he has a love for his family that cant be measured.

So as my little boy is turning into a young man all I can can is Happy Birthday and we are so proud of you! Your the best Braydin Scott Shipp...

Here are the boys at the Pine Wood Derby. Like I have mentioned this last few months were crazy, so Braydin's car was a pickle... Need I say more!

Here is Mason, Braydin, Anderson, Dallin and Blake. This is almost all of our scouts, I cant imagine that next year at this time Braydin will be getting ready to join the Boy Scouts. What a good kid he is turning into. (cant you tell I am a proud mother!)

This year for the scouts cake auction we made a Pizza Cake. It was a cookie with red frosting, black licorice, yellow starburst, green sour straws, and white chocolate for the cheese. We thought it was a cool cake, the boys where so excited to decorate it.

Well I hope you like the few updates that we have done. Next will be our Easter update, hopefully it wont take as long as these ones did.

Regan's First year of B-ball!

OK these aren't great pictures the camera was out of batteries so this was the best we could do!!! SORRY Regan!

Regan played in the Upward league this year. He loved every minute of it! They didn't win alot of games but for his first experience on the court we couldn't have been more proud of him.

He was the best defender ever, he would sit on his guy and not leave him. He always had a smile on his face, and a hop skip and a jump after every made shot. I cant believe that he is almost out of the 1st grade. Where does the time go? Man Kevin is getting old!!!

In the Upward program they would announce the kids as they ran through the tunnel with smoke. We tried to get Regan to put his hands in the air and cheer as he went through. Needless to say he never did!!

We had a fun year with both the boys. Like I said before I don't know where the time has gone. But its gone and we are getting read for our new adventures! BASEBALL!!!!!

I thought I needed to get everyone caught up on our family here in Arkansas...

This has been a crazy few months, between Braydin and Regan both playing basketball we were gone alot.

So here goes this first update is on Braydin's basketball year. He had a great year it is amazing how much he has learned in the last few months. He averaged 11 rebounds a game and 6 points. He was a animal, and we loved every minute of it. YES I did almost have to go after a few kids for wanting to hurt Braydin, but Braydin would laugh and tell me not to worry that he can take care of himself. (It still didn't make me yell any less at the officials!)

Braydin is 5'1 1/2 and not even 10 yet, not much longer and I will be looking up to him!! He was asked to play on a summer basketball league and we are pretty excited for him. His basketball team won the Championship for the boys and girls club. What a fun year to watch him and his friends. They all played so well together.

Another Snow Day In Arkansas

Well we got it again, more snow. This time there was no ice first which made life alot better. But as true to Arkansas as we can be school was and is cancelled for a couple of days.

So here we are making a snowman as a family. Regan decided that he loved making them and made like 10 all around the yard.

I decided to be cool and put food coloring in the snow for eyes. Yes it did run just a little!!!

He tried to run when he saw the camera but what he didn't know is that I had been taking pictures for a while.

So to kind of give you a clue about the snow. When you look at the snowman pictures you see we used most of the snow on the grass. Well these pictures where taken about 2 hours later. There was no snow on the driveway at first, all of the sudden we couldn't find the driveway.

It was so much fun it reminded me of home for a minute.

Braydin's Bear advancement

Braydin got his advancement from a Bear. What a proud mom I am, he has come a long way. He has grown up to be a young man.

They had us do cheers in teams, so this is the group that Regan was in. Sister Brock makes these nights amazing for our boys.

Snow Football!!!

My Boys could careless what the weather is out side as long as the can play some FOOTBALL!

We have had alot of fun in the snow for the last couple of days. Kevin took the boys to play basketball, so Regan got his shorts on his hat, gloves and boots and went and played in the snow before they left. Yes my neighbors think that we are the crazy people with crazy kids, and I'm OK with that!!!

Ice & Snow in Arkansas

Today we got our first real taste of winter. Schools were closed Kevin was home, it was a mess...

For those of you who don't know what you are seeing in these photos is ICE not snow. It came down all night and most the day. The kids really didn't care that it was ice they still had fun playing in it.

If you could see this its little pellets of ice. Like going to the gas station and getting ice chips. It's insane!

If you are wondering yes we did start getting snow about 2:00 pm. So what you are seeing here is the 1-2 inches of ice with a 1-2 inches of snow. Not good for driving in!!!

Top ten ways NOT to visit teach!

Well its the first of the year and many of you probably received new visiting teachers or you were assigned a new visiting teaching beat.

Visiting teaching is a serious and important calling, and one that should be considered with the utmost gravity. No joking allowed.

Over and over we've read lessons, listened to talks, and prayerfully considered how we can improve our visiting teaching.

Today, however, I'd like to help you by sharing just a few humorous ways NOT to make your service to your sisters a little better. As you evaluate how you are doing with visiting teaching, make sure that you are NOT doing one of these things.

If you are, well, I'll just grateful that you are not my visiting teacher!

1. DON'T schedule all of your appointments for the 32nd of the month. (That's what happens when you wait to call until the 30th and then schedule them all for 'the day after tomorrow'.)

2. DON'T ask the sisters you visit teach to give the lesson.

3. DON'T use the phrase, "Well, enough about you. Let's talk about me!"

4. DON'T ask the sister you visit teach when she plans to bring you dinner.

5. DON'T ask them to skip Relief Society so you can visit teach them (this is especially true if you or they are in the Relief Society presidency).

6. DON'T let your preschooler redecorate the walls of the home to include crayon sketches.

7. DON'T ask, "So are you pregnant, or have you just put on a lot of weight in the last month?"

8. DON'T fall asleep while your companion gives the lesson. Even worse, DON'T fall asleep while you're giving the lesson.

9. During the prayer, DON'T ask Heavenly Father to 'please help her be a better person - she needs all the help she can get!'

10. And, most important of all, DON'T put off your visiting teaching! Your sisters need you - and you need them!

A night with Scottie Pippen

Tonight we were able to go with the kids and some friends to see UCA retire Scottie Pippen's Jersey. No the kids had no idea who he was and yes that did make me feel WAY old. But nonetheless I thought it was a great night and a chance of a life time.

I thought that he was going to seem a lot taller then what he was, he is 6'8.

It had to have been a great night for him. In this picture they have all the guys and coaches that were at UCA with him. Some of them didn't look as good as they did back in the day, but do any of us!!!!

Most of you probably don't really care, but coming from a family who love sports it was awesome to be there.

Play Time Pizza!!!!

For Regan's Birthday he wanted to go to Play Time Pizza in Little Rock, so that is what he got!!! It's a pizza buffet/arcade/bowling/laser tag/go karts. So what I am saying is it was a BUSY MAD HOUSE!!!

He got some wonderful gifts that he is still talking about. We had some of our friends meet us there and brave the rain and the headache after being there with the 5000 other children.

This is Regan picking his reward for winning so many tickets. (mind you he got a $1.00 toy for the $15.00 worth of tickets)
He is getting so big, we are so thankful to have him in our family. I hope this was a day to remember for you Regan...

Christmas Morning

7 Years old!!!!!

So I thought I would start off by telling my sweet little Regan Happy Birthday!!!!
The Lord new what he was doing when he sent these three amazing children into my life. They bring joy to my life that I never thought could be felt.
Today as we celebrate Regan's 7th Birthday Day I think of the day he came into this world. He was the quickest delivery that ever could have been and he has been just as quick and smooth to raise. He has a laugh that make me laugh. He has a smile that warms any room. He has a love for his family and friends that I couldn't teach him to have. When I am around him I cant help but be proud.
So today as we celebrate his sweet birth I want him to know how much we love him and that he can always count on mom and dad.
We LOVE you Regan! Have a Happy Birthday!!!!

Christmas Eve

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house not a creature was stirring not even a mouse.... The stockings are hung by the fireplace with care in hopes that Saint Nick will soon be here!
It was a good night for the Shipp family. After having dinner the kids showered and opened their one and only gift for the night... New Jammie's!!!!

There was much excitement in the air. After they were dressed for the night we loaded the car to find all the fun lights. We could tell that the excitement in the air was closing in on the kids. They asked if they could go home and go to bed.

This last picture is a great one, we told the kids that the first one asleep could open the first gift in the morning. We will see how it works.

This is my favorite time of the year. I love the reason for the season, I know that Christ was born and that he lived his life for us. I love to share this with my children. I love the gospel and how it helps guide my life. I love my elder brother and am thankful for him each and everyday.
So on this Christmas Eve I have one thing to say: Happy Birthday to the Christ child, and a very Merry Christmas to everyone else...

Boys School Christmas Parties!

The boys had Christmas Parties before they got out of school. I thought I would share the pictures with you.

Braydin is already in 4th grade. I can hardly believe it. I don't know where the time went. At his party they played games and had Pizza. (His favorite!!!)

Regan had lots and lots of different treats. They made ornaments with their pictures in them and played BINGO. He is now in the 1st grade and thinks he is pretty cool.

This is both the boys and the stockings that the class filled. They had alot of fun, and I love the fact that I can send them to a school that has teachers that love them and are teaching them new things everyday!!!

This past weekend we went and had pictures taken for our Christmas Cards. As you can see from the following shots it was a CRAZY morning.

Her brothers all have a shot with their foot on the wall so she wanted to try and this is what we got. My baby isn't a baby anymore...

Regan has such a goofy laugh that it makes everyone around him laugh. He is such a sweet boy.

12 Years Married to my Best Friend!

Today is our 12th anniversary, how time flies when your having fun. When I met Kevin little did I know that I would fall in love and marry him. As most of you know it wasn't love at first sight (for all of us that is!) Some it took a little coaxing, but after realizing what I had I never questioned it again.
I married my best friend, the one that I laugh with, cry with and will spend eternity with. I can go to him for comfort, friendship, and anything else my heart desires!
He tells me I am beautiful, he tells me I'm the women of his dreams, he tells me we will be together for eternity. What more can I ask for.
As most of you know its not an easy task being married, but it is well worth it! Thank You Kevy for all you do for our family. You are everything that I ever wanted in a husband, and more.

As many of you know my mother-in-law has made dresses for Paige. She has made one for her every year. So we are sharing the next one in line. I love this one the buttons are pencils, and she has a hat.

So last week we were able to go in and watch Paige's dance class. She was so excited... Sad news was my battery went dead before the dance, so here are a few of her warming up.

Room Makeover

This past week Tiffany and Casey were here and Kevin decided to mention to Tiffany that my bedroom needed her touch, and that he would let her spend his money to get it done. Well after the make over it got, I am so excited. For the last little while I have been telling Kevin that I needed to start acting and decorating like an adult. So I got rid of my goose in the kitchen and have this amazing new room to sleep in at night. Adulthood here I come!!! As Kevin would say "It only took me 32 there years to get " adulthood that is!!!

Thanks Tiff for your help you're the best. I miss you and wish you all the luck in the world.

Regan: Mom I know the "F" word the "D" word and the "S" word.

Mom: Oh really well Regan what are these word (I was so scared for what I was about to hear, and I also was going to have to find out who is talking around my kids?)

Regan: Well the "D" word is dang, the "S" word is stupid and the "F" word is fat. Those are all bad words that we don't say, right mom.

Mom: With a big smile on my face I agreed, those where the three words that I thought he was going to say.

So remember when you are in my home please do not use these three words or the other three words that you where all thinking!!! :)

Flag Football

So the boys played Flag Football this year. They loved every minute of it... Because I am such a great mother I only took the camera to the last game, and because of that only Braydin got pictures taken. It started to rain durning Regan's game and it was raining so hard that I never got a chance to pull the camera out. I am so sorry Regan, but know that I LOVE YOU!

We had alot of swim time this summer. We were able to go to this swim pool with both of our families. This man owns all this land and he has all kinds of fun things there to do. So we went swimming and then on a train ride. So here are the pictures of the fun we had...

There were many more things that we did this summer. Such as American Idol concert, Lagoon many Parks and a lot of family time. We really miss being around family, but the family that we have made here in Arkansas we wouldn't change!

Yes my sweet little girl turned 3. We had a little party before we left Utah and one when we got home. She had so much fun and we are so thankful for all you that love our family, you guys are great.

Yes Paige is 3 and yes she thinks she is 20. Some of her favorite things to say is "Boys don't do that," "I didn't do it!" "can I have a snack?"

She has grown up so much she is potty trained, she is in a big girl bed and she will be your next "American Idol" she is our sweet little girl!

Dinner in the Canyon

While we were in Utah we were able to be with almost all of our families. This was dinner at Millcreek Canyon with Kevin's side. We had LeAnn and her family there from Oklahoma and Debi and her family there From Farmington Utah and Larry and Joyce.

This might just look like a s'more to you, but to the rest of us that watched it fall on the ground and Kevin pick it up and still ate it, it was like watching fear factor. There was all kinds of gross things on it. He just wanted to show everyone that he was a MAN!

Alpine Slide

OK for those of you that have been to Park City Utah you know about the Alpine slide, and YES it is still as fun as ever. You ride to the top of a mountain on the sky lift and come down on a sled with wheels!

There we are on our way up. Paige is to small to go alone so she was with me. The ride up is so beautiful. The fresh mountain air, and the amazing sites!

This was when Kevin beat Braydin to the bottom. Can I say yes he is still a kid at hart!

Oquirrh Mountain Temple

While we were in Utah we had the to take the kids to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house. What a fun thing to b e able to go with the kids into each room of the temple and talk with them about what happens in the temple. The kids were in complete amazement and how beautiful the temple really is.

Ok so every time we go to my moms house she has a new toy for us to use. Last year it was a swimming pool and as she thought about it she decided that Paige would dround so this year it was a water slide....

Braydin's Baseball Game

This was a fun year of baseball for our family. Braydin played for Texas A&M. He is getting to be a pretty good player.

He got hit by the ball early in the year and it made him a little scared, we are hoping that he gets his confidence back. We keep telling him we know he can do it, now he needs to realize he can to!

This is the water park in Little Rock on the river. One Saturday we decided to go in to the farmers market and let the kids play. It really is a neat place..

There was really alot to do, they had slides and climbing rocks on the other side of the water area.

Yes we did go to the Kris Allen Home Coming. It was so well worth the heat and the wait there. If you can believe it he is 10 times better in person. He also was so dang cute! He did the TV news stations, the Radio stations, he ate at Stoby's here in town and did 3 live concerts. He really is our American Idol...(at least in the Shipp home!)

Strawberry Picken!

So Friday we decided that we would do something adventurist with the little ones and we went strawberry picking. I have never done it before and we loved it!

I would have to say they should have weighed Paige coming in and going out. She had to of eaten 7 lbs of strawberries all herself... This picture you can see her little face and the juice dripping off of her chin. I love it!

She picked and picked and picked. At first she was picking everything but by the end she new only to get the RED ones!

This was our stash 7 lbs of strawberries, we made freezer jam, bread, cake and then had strawberries to munch on. It was a fun day, thanks for letting us tag along everyone...

Wolf to a Bear

Yes Braydin turned 9 and that intelled that he moved on to Bears. The night of pack meeting was so fun they learned about fossils. It is so much fun being able to see Braydin grow in cubs and also to see Regan getting excited to join.

One of the games that we played was racing in Dino feet. It was a difficult task and yes I did join the fun and NO you may not see the pictures that were taken!!!

For the treat of the night they had to dig for Dinosaur snacks in the pile of shredded paper, you would have thought that it had snowed there was paper everywhere. Sister Brock did such an amazing job.

The to top off the night I was able to pin Bradin's wolf badge to his shirt. I really love the scouting program and how it influences the boys to "Do your Best"

Happy Birthday Braydin

Braydin turned 9 years old today, and what a ride the last 9 years have been. He is such a good boy, and so much fun to have in our life! For his Birthday we told him that he could have a sleep over with a few of his friends. Man a house full of boys was not a quiet place! Boys go and they go and they go, and just when you think that they are ready for bed they go again! Then they fall asleep for a couple of hours and are going again and again 2 hours later!!!

We started out at the slick track and miniature golf... Most of the boys had never done anything like this before so it was alot of fun to see them fly!

Are family loves going together here so yes Kevin couldn't pass up the chance to show these small fries what he was made of!!!

Regan isn't tall enough for the slick track so he road the small track, and yes he still loved it.

After the track we went miniature golfing Paige got in on the fun for a minute!

Then it was back to the house for dinner and cake. The night may have been a little crazy but Braydin had a great Birthday and that is really all that we wanted, so needless to say that a mother can handle anything for a night as long as her baby boy had the Best Birthday ever!!!

So in closing all I want to say is Happy Birthday Braydin, and thanks for being ONE of my favorite boys!!!

Easter Sunday

We had such a great Easter, the kids where so excited about what they got from the Easter Bunny. Are morning started off at church at 8:30. Regan was devastated that the Easter Bunny didn't come before. He told us that this was the "WORST Easter ever!" But oh well we went off to church

All three kids got new outfits for church, they thought they looked pretty good!

Church was wonderful, Easter Sunday is one of my favorite days. The music and speakers were wonderful.

When we got home we had found that the Easter Bunny came while we were at church, he sent the kids on a "Treasure Hunt" They laughed and ran like you wouldn't believe, they had to go out side a few times and because of the rain they were sopping wet.

The last clue took them out to the car where they found a new bike for Paige and new baseball gloves and bats for the boys.

This is Paige on her new bike, she was starting to get it by the end but we will have alot of work to do...Hopefully when it stops raining that is!

The boys loved their new baseball gloves and bats, all in all it was alot of fun.

I thought I would share with you what Braydin's comments were at the end of the hunt...

Braydin: mom I think I know how dad did it, he went and bought everything the other day then came home during church and set it up.

Lindsee:so Braydin are you telling me that dad is the Easter Bunny?

Braydin: Well I am 50% sure its him and 50% sure its the Easter Bunny...

He is getting so big he just makes me laugh, but like I said before this was a great Easter. I hope that your Easter was as entertaining as ours and that your kids have been bouncing off every wall in your house like ours! But the sugar rush will wear off and the memories will last forever!

Braydin played with the Boys and Girls club this year, he was on a really good team, and he learned so much. He was on a team with all the boys from his school it was a fun year.

As you can tell his team won the championship, it took a little longer then what we expected but we got it done in the end. Like I said this was a good group of kids for Braydin to learn from, and what makes me most excited is the great example Braydin is becoming for family!

Our weekend in Dallas

We had one of the funnest weekends ever Kevin and I went to Dallas for a wedding and we left the kids home with a great couple.
Friday night we went to a dinner and a movie. We went to the movie theater that was also a restaurant, when you go in you sit at a table and order your food and eat while you watch your movie. They had salads, hamburgers, pizza, sandwiches and desserts of all kinds. It was so neat. The prices where about the same that you would pay at a normal restaurant so its like a one stop shopping!
Saturday morning we went to one of my favorite places, IKEA! We love that store they have a little of everything for your house for half the price of anywhere else. So after spending the morning there we went to the hotel to get ready for the wedding.
The wedding was so much fun, it was for my cousin Kelly, and she is my age so every time we would get together we would have so much fun. She married a great guy, and they really seem so happy. After the wedding we went to the mall for a couple of hours before the dinner reception. I have decided that Arkansas has no clue what a mall really is. We went to the American Girl store, man oh man I pray that I never get an idea to take Paige there. They have dolls of every kind, she would go nuts there, and I don't think I have that kind of money for that type of hobby!!
Well after the mall it was back to be with family a little more at the reception. My aunt and uncle where there from Utah and then all of Kelly's family, that I haven't seen in years. So it was a great night just visiting.
Sunday we started the drive home. Its not that long of a drive only 5 hours, and it was just Kevin and I. WOW was it ever silent, it was so nice. No fighting, no "are we there yet" no "I want out of the car" it was just peaceful. So as you can see my weekend was wonderful, and before you ask yes I missed the kids and was so glad to see them. But yes anytime anyone wants them for a weekend so we can get away please call, really please, please, please call!!!

Curls, Curls and more Curls

OK so you know that I am a proud mother of 2 ruff and tuff boys and one sweet girl, and as a mother of a girl yes we have to make her pretty. So I finally decided to go get the sponge curls so that I can have her hair curly.

She thought that she was the prettiest little thing ever. After we were done she ran into the bathroom and just stared at herself. She loved it.

And yes she kept them in all night, first thing in the morning she came into the bathroom waiting for me to take them out so she could see. She has always been really good about me doing her hair but today she was better then usual.

You cant see it very well but she did look cute. The sad thing is they don't last long but you couldn't wipe the smile off her face. Yes I am so excited to have a little girl and even more excited that I will only have one sweet princess!!!

This past week

This past week of school was a big one for the kids. Braydin had to do a President report in front of his class. He did his report on Zachary Taylor the 12th President of the United States. He was so excited he brought home a book all about him and got his report all ready to go. Its amazing how much he is growing up, and how much he is learning.

Regan had a character parade, he got to choose his favorite book and then dress up as a character. Well needless to say I am not that good and so he wanted to take this pop-up book on dinosaurs and we just sewed and glued dinosaurs all over his shirt. I thought he looked dang cute and he liked it so it was perfect!

It was a really fun week because my mom was able to come and be with us while I have been recovering. So like I said before this was a real big week. I am doing really good, with the exception of my spirit after we took my mom to the airport. I love the friends that we have made here and I wouldn't change them or the growth that I have had sense being here, but I wish so bad that I was closer to my family. So my week was filed with alot of laughs, pains, and tears but it was a good week.

Cake Auction

Every year we have a Chili cook off and Cake Auction for the cub scouts. This year we decided to make a hamburger. The kids thought it was so cool, we had alot of fun making it.

This is the final product, it raised some good money for the scouts. We made it with a yellow cake mix and then added a little coco into the middle section to make it brown like a real hamburger. So if anyone has any ideas for next year we are up for suggestions!

I just had to share a little story with you. As most of you know this past week I spent some time in the hospital and left Kevin in charge of the house chores. Well we were sitting in bed last night and he was folding the laundry that he had washed that day, and he found his pajama bottoms that I had bought him for Christmas. Instead of folding them he decided to wear them. So he put them on and then let out a gasp he yelled "Lindsee I don't remember these being so short, what happened to them." I asked him what was going on and he walked around to my side of the bed so I could see...... he had shrunk his PJ pants by 3 inches. I didn't know that it was possible. I just started laughing and asking him how he had done that, I have been washing them for 2 months without a problem and he comes in and shrinks them.
Needless to say Kevin's heart is always in the right place, but sometimes he lacks the skills to get all of it done. Nothing else was shrunk that day and now I have a great story to tell so life is grand!!!

I thought that I would share with you what a great man I have married. Last night when he got home from scouts Braydin ran in the house with these amazing flowers. As all of you know Valentines Day is Saturday so they where a few days early. I asked Kevin why he gave them to me early and he said "because you are having surgery Tuesday I wanted you to be able to enjoy them longer before you are in bed for a while." I thought that he was so sweet, I really did marry the best man ever...
Now so you do know that he isn't perfect I thought I would tell you what Braydin told me.
When he ran into the house and gave me the flowers he said "Dad wanted me to lie to you and tell you that they came from the flower shop but they came from Kroger." I laughed all night, then he also said to his dad "Sorry about what happened dad but that he had to tell me the truth I'm his mom and he cant lie to me!"
So as you can see I have alot of good men in my life!

Allergic or NOT

I thought that I would share a conversation I had with my boys the other day as we were driving down the street.
I have been telling them for a very long time that they are allergic to every animal there is so that we don't have to have a pet. I did tell them that they weren't allergic to turtles and that if they caught one that they could keep it, but that is another story for another day!
Anyway as of late I think Braydin if figuring things out. We were driving down the street the other day and they were both asking about being allergic to animals and Braydin said that the other day at school one of the kids brought a dog and that all the kids were around playing with it. They asked Braydin why he was touching it when he is allergic to them. As a good boy as he is - he told him that he is only allergic to the ones at our house. Then they went on in there day.
Well Braydin decides to flat out ask if he really is allergic, so the good mother I am I turned up the radio and drowned him out.
I know I will not be able to push it that much further, and I did tell them that if we had an animal that we wouldn't be able to go on trips anymore. But they tell me that Buffie is there to babysit for us.
So all I can say is YES as for now they still are allergic to everything!

A Great Saturday Night

Saturday night was a fun night for us. Kevin had decided that he would get tickets to the Monster Trucks for him and the boys, and that left Paige and I with a girls night. Oh what fun this could be.

Kevin picked up pit passes for before the show, so they were able to go down on the floor and see all the Monster Trucks.

So as for the Guys night out it was a big SUCCESS, can you say BOYS WILL BE BOYS!

Now as for the best part of the night, Paige and I got to hang out. I know you think "well hello you hang out with her all week alone what was so good about this night!" Well we had a blast, after her nap she hasn't really been feeling that great so she came and sat on my lap and let me love her for about 30 minutes. At what point we decided that we would go pick up a few things at the store, then went and got dinner. When we got home we decided to get in our PJ's and snuggle on the couch. We laughed, played baby dolls and had treats.. everything that you would want to do with a best friend. The way I see it is now she is my little best friend that wants to play dolls and house and in a few years it will be shopping and a movie.

Like I said before it was such a fun weekend with our little family. So to all those who read my blog take time out for the little things in life, have fun with your family let your kids know just how much they mean to you, these are the best days of our lives!

Paige's First Haircut

Today we decided it was time to get Paige her first Haircut. Every time we have brought it up to her she tells us "noa cuta my hair." But today was the day! I got her there and she would NOT sit in the chair, so I thought OK I will show her that it doesn't hurt while I get mine done. So she didn't take her eyes off the girl cutting my hair, and finally her hero her Daddy got there to save her. While I was getting done with my hair he let her sit on his lap and get her haircut. But not before he bribed her with dolls and candy. After they started she was fine and loved it

This is the final product, you cant see it real well but it looks good, we only had them take enough off so that it was all one length but what a difference it makes. So if you ask her about her pretty hair she will tell you she is a princess!

Regan's Parties!

Here are the picture that I took of Regan's Birthday. On Friday at school they had a Birthday Celebration. So all the kids with Birthdays that month got to bring treats in for the rest of the class and have a little celebration.. There where 2 kids for this month Zack and Regan.

This is Zack, Regan, and Noah. I here about these boys all day everyday. Regan calls them his best friends, they sit at the same table in class.

Like I have said many other times, Paige thinks that she is the big kid. I was able to take her to the school with me, she loves being there.

On Sunday we had some friends come over and have cake and ice cream for Regan's Birthday. It has been so good for us to have such amazing friends that have become our family away from family.

This is Regan's Birthday cake he loves Bakugan so we decided instead of buying a cake that we would make one and get the Bakugans for the top of the cake.

This was such a fun weekend, Kevin took the boys to the movies on Saturday and then we have played the rest of the time. So as for now we are putting this Birthday away for another year.

We love you Regan and hope that you have many more GREAT Birthdays!

Let it SNOW!

It was so exciting to look out the window and see the pretty white stuff falling. You can see it really well in the pictures but I couldn't pass up the chance to take the picture!

You can see a few snowflakes on the chair here, its the little white stuff!!!!

I have been missing the snow so much this year so I'm glad we got to see it and maybe before the end of winter there will be enough for us to play in it! Probably not!

Happy Birthday Regan

6 Years ago today was one of the greatest days that a mom could have, we brought a second little boy into this crazy world. He came fast and he came without warning, but nonetheless he came. The Doctors had told us to come in January 17 to be induced so we had plans for the 16th to get everything ready for our newest arrival.

The morning of the 16th I woke up at 6:00 am hurting, I told Kevin to call Labor and delivery and see what we should do. They told me to take a bath and try and stop the contractions and that they would probably be seeing me in a few hours. I did as I was told and got in the tub, I was in there for under 10 minutes and had 3 more contractions. I knew I was in trouble. I told Kevin to call his parents and get them there so they could be with Braydin. By the time that they got there I was outside walking around trying not to die in pain. I didn't even say Hi I got in the car and told Kevin to drive. Screaming to SPEED-UP or SLOW-DOWN!

By the time that we got to the hospital it was 7:30 am. I told them I didn't care what happened next but just give me the epidural. They said there was no time and that they could give me something to take the edge off. It was a wonderful drug, I was happy....

My sister walked in to the room at 8:00 am and the doctor had already finished delivering the baby and stitching me up, that was how fast Regan came into the world.

Ice Skating

The boys had a chance to go to a Ice Skating Birthday Party. Kevin made them go around the ring once before they could take off the skates, so he had to snap the pictures quick!

It made me laugh because when they got home Braydin said "mom it was so cold, I didn't think that it would be that cold." At that point I had to point out that it was ICE skating, and ICE being the key word. I'm not sure what he thought, I explained to him that if they heated the ICE skating rink then it would be called drowning! Needless to say he told us that he will not be doing that again Kids they just make you have to laugh!

Early Morning Church

This past year we have had the 1:00 pm church and it has been terrible.. Paige has nap time from 1-4:30 so this time just doesn't work. But we are so excited because this week we were able to start church at 8:30 am. I know that there are alot that aren't excited about this time but the thought of being home at 11:30 how cant you be!

So yes I know that I already did a post about my little sleeping beauty but when we saw this we had to post again... Kevin put her at the table sit while we got every ones plates ready and in the 5 minutes she was there she had fallen asleep. She is so dang sweet, and I know most of you have never seen her in a non-mobile position so here she is.
So this is why I am excited for the 8:30 church!

Christmas Eve with the fam!

So like most everyone the kids each get a pair of PJ that they open Christmas eve. They are hidden in their stockings and then Kevin makes then magically appear. The kids love it...

Paige is in a big Dora stage she eats, drinks, and sleeps Dora. So you better believe we had to find Dora pajamas.

Braydin got Mario pajama bottoms, they are a little long but he was thrilled about them.

Last but not least little Regan got Iron man, this boy loves to be in pajamas he would wear them to school if I let him. As soon as he gets home he takes his pants off and slip into something more comfortable.

It was a harder then usual Christmas for me, every year being away from the family is a little harder but as long as I have these three and the big man (Kevin) I know that things are OK. I know this wont make sense to anyone but my little family but I'm sorry for not being myself and I love each of you and am thankful that we are an eternal family!

Class Christmas Parties

These are some of the pictures from the boys Christmas Parties at the school, lucky for me they were on the same day at the same time so I didn't have to go two different times...

Each of there teachers had them a stocking and then everyone in the class brought items to put in them.

As always they loved the party, they played BINGO and ate all afternoon. Once again I need to tell Ms. Moore and Ms. Ortiz how thankful we are for the example they have been for the boys, they have learned so much this year..

Our Little Sleeping Beauty

Paige loves to sleep in her brothers room, and every night we have to take her back to her own room. You also have to know that she is smart enough to know that if she does the army crawl then we cant see her sneaking in there. Well it was about 10:30 and Kevin and I decided to check the kids on the way to bed and this is what we found. We thought it was so funny that we had to get pictures.

Radio City Christmas Spectacular

For Christmas this year my mom and dad called and asked if we would like tickets to the Rockettes Christmas Special. With out really knowing much about it we said yes and went along our merry little way. Well last night we had the chance to go to the show and all I can say was it was AMAZING. We all loved it, Paige didn't blink an eye they entire time that we were there. It was great...

It was just our little family, we went to the Olive Garden before hand and had a wonderful dinner then off to the show we went..

This was the stage that they preformed on, they had an ice rink on it with trap doors, everything that you would think that they would have in the real Radio City Hall..

The Rocketts were GREAT they changed outfits 8 times, they had their legs kicking all night long with high heels on. I couldn't believe it. I told Kevin maybe one day I could be a Rockett..(Maybe in my next life!)

This was there big bus that you can take tours on when you are in New York. They drove that thing all over the stage.

This was the little ice rink that they had on the stage, they had a bench that would pop up and down as needed.

This had to have been one of the Rocketts best dances, the pictures didn't turn out as well as I had hoped but it was so fun to see it. In the end they all fall down in a row without one person out of sink.

This act was the first that we saw..... the Rocketts were dressed as reindeer and came out kicking and dancing. They pulled Santa's sleigh everywhere on the stage.

Santa was awesome. They had him flying all around, and over the audience. They brought out tons of Santa's to do a number for us. The kids thought it was the neatest thing that they had ever seen.

This was the last call, what an amazing night it was.

I did save the best for last, they had a live nativity, and they have real animals come around. It was the neatest nativity that I have ever see. It leaves you wanting more!

This was the best way to end the night and my blog, this here is the reason for the season. If I wasn't in the Christmas spirit before I am more then there now. All I can say is thank you mom and dad for making this a Christmas never to be forgotten.

GINGERBREAD HOUSES

This was a fun week for us, on Monday night for family home evening we made a Gingerbread house. Ever year as a family we buy a gingerbread house kit and go to town on it. we let Braydin decorate half and Regan decorate the other half, then Paige puts her mark all over the place...

This is Braydin's side he told me that he was doing a pattern on his, then we go to Regan's side and....

here it is Braydin told us that Regan side was the creative side. He makes us laugh the things that an 8 year old says.

After the wonderful Monday night activity Wednesday at the school the classes were making their Gingerbread houses. It was really nice because the 3rd graders are the book buddies for the kindergarten classes and it so happens that Braydin's class is Regan's classes book buddies, so they put the two of them together.

Regan was so ready to make his house, he hardly slept the night before.

It made me laugh Braydin's teacher told all the 3rd graders to make sure that they helped their book buddies good, and I know that if Braydin would have had another book buddy things would be a little different. But Braydin kept telling him everything that he was doing wrong, just like a big brother would do....

But really Braydin is a great big brother to both Regan and Paige.

I took Paige with us to make the Gingerbread houses at the school, she loved being a big kid. She thinks she is one of them. She has no idea that she is only 2.

This is Regan's finished project from school, he was so proud he brought it home and asked if he could put it next to the family one so that they could be together.

This is our families house, I thought it turned out great.

This is Braydin's house, very simple.

Like I said before this was such a fun week with the kids, I'm hoping that it spills over into the next few weeks. I love this time of the year and I hope that I can show my children that this is a time to celebrate and be excited, and to remember that Jesus is the reason for the season.

CIRCUS TIME

When we found out that the circus was coming to town I told Kevin that I wanted to go and that I had never been and so I wanted to take the kids and go. We decided to call Buffie and Jessie and see if they had any plans and low and behold they didn't so we were off.

We were on the 13th row and could see pretty good.

This guy was my favorite he was a French clown and made us laugh the entire time he was performing...

The kids loved all the animals that they had, but the most amazing I thought were the elephants, the tricks that they had them do were amazing.

Before the show started they let us go down and meet all the entertainers and try on the costumes, and try a little high flying.

We were 2 people away to do the trapeze and they announced that they were shutting it down. We had waited in line for 15 minutes, so Kevin ran Paige up there to let her swing for a minute.

This was a photo op I couldn't resist now you all know that my life is a circus!

Braydin tried a little of the juggling. He thought that he was so good.

This was such a fun night for our family. We had a little of everything going on and we loved it. I cant wait to go back again. Thanks Buffie and Jessie for going with us we had a blast!

Regan's Christmas List

OK so Regan started looking at the adds Thursday and wanted to make his Christmas List. Well I got tired of telling him how to spell everything, so I told him to just look at the word by the picture and write what it says. This is what we got.....

The first while supplies last was I guess this entire page..As for the last while supplies last its still a wonder, and then the Ratchet was a hard one but on the way home from shopping we opened an add and there it was at Target a game devise of some sort. so what we have learned was someone has to be watching when having them make their lists...

Happy Thanksgiving

We were able to enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving with Kevins sister and LeAnn and her family. Four of their kids were with us for a fun filed few days. They came in on Wednesday early afternoon and the kids started playing then and never stopped. It took Paige a few minutes to warm up but by the end she had them all eating out of the palm of her hand...

These are LeAnn's boys Trevor, Brock, Shane and Jared, with her husband Shawn in the middle. As always we played games all night.

This is LeAnn, we were playing a game called 31 and if you lost you had to eat warheads. If you have never tried them they are terrible. They are so sour that they make your eyes water,

and you have to pucker!!!

We had alot of fun, we laughed alot and talked alot. Then Friday morning Kevin, Shawn, LeAnn and I were out the door at 4:15 in the morning. We ALL (yes even the boys) loved it.

We made are list all day Thursday we had it down.

We started off at Wal-Mart, then off to Target a stop at Best Buy, Kohls for an hour then off to breakfast. After we were done we went to Hastings and back to the other Wal-Mart. LeAnn and I took the boys home and we were off again, we went to Kohls for another fix and then to Belk. We had a great day and even funner weekend. We bought Dancing with the Stars for the WII and all yes all of us danced and laughed for hours. The Hasting employees told us they had never played it but that it couldn't be much fun, but I will say it is money well spent!

We had a great time having family around and we hope that they will come back soon. Thanks for the wonderful Thanksgiving!

A BIG Day.....

Today was a big day for Braydin and Regan at school.
Braydin had his grandparents lunch and Regan had his Thanksgiving Feast.. So I thought I would share the day with them.
We will start off with the grandparents lunch..OK I guess you could say that is where that ended. Since none of the grandparents would be willing to come to us ...we decided to try and make it up to Braydin. After the many tears that he shed for missing his grandparents! :) We check him out of school and took him to Taco Bell.. It wasn't as fun as if we would have had grandparent here, but you deal with what you have!

After I drop Paige and Kevin off for nap time I was off to the school again for the Thanksgiving Feast. When I arrived to school I helped Regan get ready for the party. He was and Indian he was named Wise Owl. He looked way to cute. We had picture time and then it was off to eat...

They ate Turkey sandwiches, grapes, popcorn, Pumpkin pie and apple juice to drink. I have never seen Regan eat so much he loved it..

Like I said he did make the cutest little Indian that I have ever seen. He has had so much fun in school this year he has learned so much. I owe alot to Mrs. Ortiz. After the Feast I asked Regan if he wanted to go home with me, and he told me "No" that he want to stay. As I see it, it made me proud that he likes school so much, then on the other hand I wanted to cry that he is growing up and doesn't need me as much..
I hope you boys had as good as a day as I did. I love you both. To Paige my little lovey I love you too! Especially with all your energy you bring into my life.

Fall Fun!!!

We decided to take the kids and try and get some family photos for our Christmas cards. This is what we found, not exactly professional but we will be using some of them. If you know anything about the Eckles side of the family you know that Gary who is my little brother always seems to be the goofy picture taker in our family so I want you to try and guess who it is in our family!!!

Well if you haven't guessed there are a few that got that gene from him. We have decided that the camera loves Regan but he always likes to make the goofy face. Braydin doesn't know how to relax in front of the camera and Paige well at times she was in a GIRL mood (no need to explain anymore!!) As you can tell Kevin and I didn't take very many with us and there is a purpose. We were the winners of the goofy picture! But we did have a good time, the kids had so much energy to burn after having no school for a couple of days.. All in all we got at least one family picture and that was our goal for the day!

At his time of the year there are so many things that I am thankful for. I am grateful to be able to share a few of them with you...

1-I am thankful for my husband who I adore and love with all my heart. He is my best friend the one that I laugh with cry with and love for all eternity..

2-I am thankful for my children. They are my life, they make me happy maybe not all the time but most of the time. I thank my Father in Heaven ever night for them and the sweet spirits that they are.

3- I am thankful for my family, the parents that raised Kevin and I. They care for us they pray for us and they are always here for us.. Thank you moms and dads! But don't let me forget to mention the great brothers and sisters that we have also.

4-I am thankful for the church in my life. I have never questioned my beliefs but my convection gets stronger with each new day. I know that I have a Father in Heaven and also a mother in Heaven. I also know that I have a Savior that died for me. I am eternally grateful for that...

5- I am thankful for my friends. My new friends and the old ones. You are always there for me and I can never repay you for the love you show to me.

6- I am thankful for the opportunity to live in this great country that is free. I'm thankful for the chance I had to vote and let my voice be heard..

7- I am also thankful for the chance I have to be a mother, wife, friend, daughter, and chorister in primary!!!!

There are so many more things that I am thankful for these are just a few. I loved this tag because at this time of the year I do love to reflect on what I am grateful for..

1-2-3 STRIKES your OUT

For fall ball Braydin was able to finally play kid pitch. He loved it, he learned so much in this last month of baseball. He is really getting to love not only playing sports but watching them.

He was in the outfield, there wasn't alot of action there but it was a good spot for him to learn at.

He had I thought the best coaches, the team took 2nd place he was a Cardinal. Some of the players on his team were from his school. This was a good experience for him. This spring we will have both Braydin and Regan playing. Regan will have to do machine pitch but non the less he is excited...

Fall Soccer came to an end...

This was such a fun year of soccer for Regan. He loves to play but he doesn't like to get in the middle of it all. So he just runs down the side of the field staying with the ball but not touching it..

I can't even believe how big he is getting. He isn't my little Reggie anymore, but he still is a sweet little thing...

Don't ask me what he was doing here, but we had to take the picture because it made us laugh!

He has no problems making friends, he has such a sweet little personality much like his mother!!!

After the game get over the parents make a tunnel for all the kids to run through, then we clap and cheer for them all.

His last game of the year and he finally decided to get into things. He made 4 goals and fought long and hard for the ball...Regan you did great, we are so proud of you.
